Spring Co-ed Thursday Evening Flag Football at Jefferson High 7pm

It was a cool spring night. It was the first USL football game at Jefferson Democrat's Stadium. It was also a great night for Mike Herman to put up four touchdown's in a single game to propel Go Team over Sudden Death 32-28.

Week three of the Jefferson Flag Football night brought a cool, clear night. It also brought Sequoia Silva out of her shell. She helped Go Team beat The Outlaws. She scored two touchdowns and pulled more than five flags.

In a close game that could have gone either way, Jude Apodaca rose above everyone else to give Army of Dorkness the victory. His four touchdown throws, as well as an interception, proved to be the back-breaker against the Outlaws. It was a spectacular display of football.

It was clear when the Army of Dorkness went down 26 to 31 with three minutes left it needed a new battle plan. Richard Golze took his short pass and ran it to the front line setting up first and goal for "The Dorkness". A disappointed Go Team defense was overheard saying, "I never knew anyone wearing blue jeans could run that fast." It set up the game winner as Army of Dorkness advances to week two of the playoffs.
