Spring Co-ed Sunday Afternoon Kickball at Lillis Albina Park 2pm

Although the darkening sky and colder temperatures descended upon Albina Field, Megan kept the smiles going on both teams with some playful banter from the catchers box that kept the game rolling and people smiling.

So I don't know many men who wear jean cutoffs in general, but wearing jean cutoffs and playing kickball, that's a completely different ball game. Jeromy helped Ramrod (Indy #2) in 2 close wins by pitching, stretching and showing a little more leg than some were comfortable with viewing. Great team spirit Ramrod!

Maurice Usenbor is this week's star player of the week. His great team spirit and passion for being out on the field was certainly seen by everyone. During one of his at-bats, Maurice "swung for the fences" but came up a little short because his ball didn't make it past the pitcher. At any rate, he ran like hell down to first going into a head first dive at the bag. Well, Maurice was hit in the head on his attempt and called out on the play. His sight was diminished for the rest of the game, but he continued to play like a champ. For this, "Mo" is the POTW.

Crystal's enthusiasm and passion for the game was on display this week. Her great spirit helped seal the victory for her side. She got on base almost everytime up and started each cheer for the Dirty Birds team. The game was tied in the late innings and she never doubted her team's willingness to win. It was her determination late that ensured her side's victory.
