Spring Co-ed Dodgeball Mondays at Friendly House

It was a head-scratching moment when Rob Cambell made the winning catch in a game Monday night at the Friendly House. You see the ball was caught with his legs. The big, hairy, American, winning machine was in awe of himself. As his team rushed to celebrate his feat Rob stoically shed a single tear.

The Setting:
A must win game that either clinched the win over Gutter Strike or led them to a tiebreaker for the match.

The Situation:
A back against the wall, Gutter Strike had their last man standing against four Ruthless State dodgers. He was able to take out one lady and two bruisers, leaving only himself and Heather in mano a mano combat.

The Win!
Though the Gutter Striker was on a roll and tossing hard, and even with both teams pretty much calling the game in the GS favor, Heather Zadow makes a great catch on a low laser shot for the game winning catch to the surprise of both teams. Amazing catch, Heather!

Jason Barry's worm burn'n throws were too much Monday Night at the Friendly House. Time after time, shin after shin Jason took out opponents from Team Target Practice. The low liners left opponents wondering, "What the-where did that come from? Am I out?"

When team Shenanigans met Go Team in the opening round of the playoffs Monday it was a flurry of activity. The players' work rate was amazing. Charging, retreating, jumping, and ducking it was an amazing game to watch. The last game was winding down with the score all tied up at three games a piece. Ryan Johnson stepped up and lasered the last Go Team player to give Shenanigans a narrow 4-3 victory.
