Spring Eastside Co-Ed Dodgeball Mondays at Fernwood/Beverly Cleary

The player of the week goes out to Catherine "the goggled ninja Cat" Stelzer for her amazing ninja like dodgball skills and always managing to land on her feet. Cat got six outs in her first game and one catch to round out the evening with a two and o start to the season. Many wonder the whereabouts of Cat's nickname but none are sure some say she got it with her time spent at the NW Portland dodgeball temple studying under sensei Master Splinter but this is only speculation. The rainbow sweater puppies are the team formerly known as testicleze and with the new name the team is already showing improvement. Great week Catherine and good luck on the rest of the season.

The Underdog player of the week Mike Walogorsky Had an amazing Monday finishing 2-0 over two high powered dodgeball teams. Mike of the Model Organisms is know for his flashy style with matching tube socks and a headband. Mike not only looks good on the court but also is a pretty good dodgeballer with good speed and some athletic skills like his patented behind the back sneaker throw. Great week Mike and good luck in the post season.

The Underdog player of the week goes to Jennifer Shuping of the Hit for Brains dodgeball club. The Hit for Brains team had a rough week finishing 0-2 for the week. But this didn't stop Jennifer and the team from having an awesome time out there. Jennifer played well with eight outs for the evening and two catches and one big smile one her face. Great week Jennifer and good luck in the upcoming playoffs, and thanks for keeping the league classy.

Erin poured her heart out playing for Team Awesome this season and her team rallied to support her through all their games tonight! She may not be able to knock everyone out each game but she sure as heck comes close! Don't you just feel the love!
