It must first be noted before any of this championship fun, that The Balls Strike Back managed to pull in one of the most impressive stacks of Spirit Coupons I have ever seen! All season they have cheered on their teammates, their opponents, and other teams throughout the league.
That said, this has been one of the most fun leagues to date, thanks to all the great teams we had out there. Thank you all very, very much for making so friggin' rad.
Ok, so the No-Tap competition was... fierce? All through the first game, neither team could match up their NTs for coupies but man were they having a great time. Dry Bumpers laughing and carrying on, Cobra Kai still basking in the glory of their "best dance number" prize from weeks prior. By the end of their second games, they were so close that it came down to a final, nail in the coffin no-tap on the last bowler, 10th frame for Dry Bumpers. Holy excitement, Batman. That was awesome!
Harry's Bonches has been bowling great (enough) all season and really tried their best to lose in the end. Fortunately for them, they were just able to pull enough frames together to put up a good score and beat out a rollin' hard, Dangling Modifiers.
Throughout the lanes you could see the PJ pants and the robes a-flowin'. Pin 'n' Tonic had the best couple's prize, with Heather and Jason both in "comfort first" clothing, a frog, and a bubble pipe.
