Now depth counts in the Big Turkey, and nowhere was that more evident than in Beastie Balls' dominating performance during playoff week. Justin and Thea came up huge in the semifinal against the bathrobe-clad French Toast Mafia, and then Greg (200) and Remy (189) carried the Beasties in the final. It should be noted that the final was no cakewalk, Gutter It's Not put up one hell of a fight, and definitely beat the pin spread. Kyle and Lizzie put up impressive numbers in both games, winning the semis by a single pin.
The spirt championship went to the Brutal Bowlers, who really pulled away from the pack during last week's spirit challenge week. Beer high five anyone?? Congrats to you guys for winning our most cherished championship, and props to O'Doyle Rules for coming in a close second.
Nine pin not tap was a huge success, and was even used to determine the bronze medal game between Brutal Bowlers and French Toast Mafia. Minds in the Gutter came away with the glory though, largely by virtue of a no tap big turkey in the 4th frame!
