This weeks player of the game goes to Nick Leviner of Outlaws. This week they had a tough opponent and ended up losing the game, but Nick came out out with a die-hard mentality of never quitting. He has the heart of a champion and the spirit of a warrior. For your efforts we acknowledge you as player of the week, congratulations!
Three touchdowns and three interceptions, but the best part was a big smile on Vinh Luu's face. Vinh was looking forward to get out there and playing football and it showed, racking up incredible stats against Dilithium Crystals who couldn't get a rhythm going.
The best part of all these amazing stats was his smile of just being out there on the field playing. His team not only won the game, but he showed his good personality and sportsmanship by congratulating the other players. Vinh displayed the Underdog Sports smile and for that, we give him this week's player of the week.
Underdog Sports is all about fun. A victory is great, but as long as we see smiles, that's what it is all about.
This weeks player of the week goes to Rob Huala from Dilithium Crystals. He took the field with the biggest smile on face from ear to ear. On the field he had 1 touchdown and great defense. He was whistled for a penalty late in the game, but that didn't phase him. His smile was bigger than ever and it reflected to his team in gathering up a 56-20 victory.
Congratulations to the player of the week, Rob Huala, for demonstrating what Underdog Sports is all about with his amazing smile.
Retired NFL player, Michael Straham has nothing on this weeks player of the week. Nathan Barry demonstrated his amazingly quick defensive skills on the field today by getting 6 sacks and leading The Alcoholics Anonymous to an amazing victory.
His team has given him the nickname "Butt hug" for his amazing display on defense. He not only reeks mayhem on the opposing quarterback, but always carries a big smile on his face. He is the 1st one to laugh and joke around showing what Underdog Sports is all about....fun.
Congratulations to the player of the week, Nathan Barry aka "Butt- Hug"!
Outlaws and Alcoholics Anonymous took the field on Sunday, playing in a lop-sided 99-18 victory for the Alcoholics Anonymous.
Despite the score, The Outlaws played valiantly with tons of fun. They displayed what Underdog Sports is all about....friendly competition, fun and sportsmanship.
The Outlaws played their hearts out showing off their smiles from Portland to Baghdad. When the opposing team would score, they would show their sportsmanship and say "good pass" or "great catch".
When the Outlaws would score, there would be a victory dance like it were the start of a new year. If every team showed as much heart and fun as the Outlaws did then the world would be a better place.
Congratulations to this unanimous "Team" of the week, The Outlaws!

POTW: Travis McGuire
Cromartie's Kids
Travis McGuire showed up today cheering his team on as they played on Sunday. Travis suffered a broken finger last week but nonetheless, in the cold wind and rain, he was out on the sideline drying off the wet ball for his team. He was laughing and joking that he would grab them water if they had it available.
Even though his team lost in an epic showdown, Travis displayed the true meaning of Underdog sports. He demonstrated team unity and sportsmanship and above all a giant smile!
He is the recipient of the player of week and for that we congratulate you and hope you get better!
A quick first step, amazing spin moves, and very nimble feet. This is what you see from Vinh Luu when he steps on the field to play. As soon as he gets the ball, he is gone.
In one game, he caught a deep ball and the defender tried to pull his flag only to be left grabbing nothing but air as Vinh made back to back spin moves to avoid the flag pull and pranced into the end zone for a touchdown...all this while making it look easy.
He is this weeks player of the week. Congratulations to Vinh Luu from Bros Inc.
