Summer Co-ed Outdoor Dodgeball at Jefferson High School Wednesdays

On a very bright and sunny day Spencer Hopping stood out among the legion of Dodgeballers. From the start of game number one Spencer aggressively pursued each ball thrown and made many difficult catches. His many catches kept his team loaded and gave them a chance to win multiple matches. He also was accurate and firm with many throws making him a very hard matchup Wednesday night.

In a day filled with highlight worthy plays, Kat Cole put on a display that had the tennis courts in Northeast Portland buzzing. During a 30 second span, Kat caught 2 balls then spun and connected on a bullet throw. Her play swung the game from a 2 on 5 to an 4 on 2 advantage. This play turned around the game and provided them with a win for the day. Nice work Ms. Cole!

Somebody check her hands to make sure she is using some banned substance because Mary caught everything thrown her way tonight! It didn't matter what side of the court she was on or if the sun was in her eyes everything was sticking to those hands if thrown her way. With the camera's rolling Mary knew the world would be watching and she didn't disappoint. Way to go!

Dodge. Duck. Dip. Dive. And dodge. The 5 D's of dodgeball. Today Blake Zedlar from Testicleaze proved how it was done. As many balls were thrown at him (most to his face), he displayed his many talents of the 5 Ds. It was almost like watching Neo from the Matrix out there. The only difference was that he did get hit a few times.
When he was the last man standing, his team was right there supporting him and cheering him on as he made amazing one-man throws to get the opponents out. Like they say "If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball."
Blake proved that this was true and for that he gets player of the week.
