Fall Co-ed Softball at Westmoreland Thur

In a game where Incredi-Pumps, unfortunately, had to forfeit because of injury, Ryan made one of the plays of the year. While tracking down several balls in the outfield, this specific hit was headed for the gap in right-center field. All of the sudden, Ryan stuck his glove out, the ball landed in it, then it popped out and then he caught it again. All while on a dead sprint. If I could, I would have rewarded him with two outs. Not only did he make the catch, but he made a fabulous throw to home to get the double play and end the inning. Great play, Ryan and thanks for the entertainment!

Thursday night was a great display of what Underdog Sports Leagues are all about. Late in the game, there was a very close play at the plate. dickbat.com was in control of the game, but an extra run can always help. The call was so close, the umpire hesitated to make a call, but Ben spoke up and said he felt the tag from the catcher. Ben could have left it up to the umpire to guess what the call was. This is what we love to see from Underdog participates! Nice job, Ben!

On another beautiful Thursday evening at Westmoreland Park, there was magic in the air. After a very close game prior to the 9 pm match-up, Lost Boys had to regain their mojo and play again. In a great battle with Bottom of the Fifth, the game was within 2-runs until Jimmy stepped up to the plate with the bases loaded in the top of the 6th. On the very first pitch, Jimmy blasted a home run halfway up the net in left field! This broke the game open and propelled Lost Boys to a 31-16 win! What a game and what a performance!
