It's become a usual sight in co-ed championship games-- Roustabouts versus The Hated. The spring title match did not disappoint. Both teams went back and forth and had plenty of action. In the final minutes, Roustabouts went ahead and The Hated were forced to play catch up. The clock was ticking down and The Hated had one last shot; they launched a Hail Mary for the game winner, but the bomb was intercepted and sealed the game for Roustabouts.

Safely Blitzed is a standard bearer of Underdog flag football. They have been a team for years, play almost every season and routinely set the example for other teams. The former champs had not tasted league victory in several seasons, but roared back this spring to reclaim their spot. They were the top seed in Division 2, but they had to win back-to-back games on the same hot afternoon to earn their title.
They did just that with a one-point victory over Scott's Tots. The rookie team scored late, and with the choice to go for the win or play for overtime, the Tots chose the former. Safely Blitzed stymied the extra point attempt and clinched the Division 2 crown.
