Fall Gentlemen's Flag Football at Lewis and Clark Sundays

Perfection take time. In their first week as an Underdog football team, Portland Vice had a rough outing. The talent was there, but the points were not. After falling their inaugural contest, the Vice City squad turned it around in Week 2. Their offense was cruising and they went over the 50-point mark against a longtime veteran team.

What can be said about AA that hasn't already been said? The train keeps a-moving and they keep crushing everyone in their path. Season after season, AA remains firmly in control of the men's league. They continued their dominance this week in two outings. It was the second game that proved to be the game of the week.

Portland Vice, a new yet talented squad, gave AA everything they could handle; however, the grizzled vets held on game away with a 50-44 victory.

Sometimes in life, showing up is half the battle. This week at flag football, that was the fate of several teams. Nonetheless, this was the opening week of playoffs! Teams trained all year for these games and then no-show. But not Awaken the Bacon; they showed up ready to roll. Unfortunately, their opponents did not. Nonetheless, we are confident they would've performed admirably given the opportunity!
