Summer Softcore Co-ed Kickball at Peninsula Park - Mon/Wed

Starting and staying at 1st all game, Traci was doing her part. Catching several pop flies and throws to 1st on D, while adding kicks and hustling on O. Kicking in the tying run and scoring, the would be go-ahead run in the top of the 7th, she was playing tough. Nice game by both sides!

Kickball virgin? Don't use that phrase around Anna Westendorf. Taking the field for Drei Streifen for the 1st time, she did it all, her 1st out, 1st RBI, and helped her team to victory. And her German is outstanding!!!!! Way to go Anna. Welcome to Underdog!

Subbie McSuberson, not being an actual person, but a group of people, was the player(s) of the week for the Porn Star Pirates. Kinda like the "Royal We" in the Big Lebowski. You know where Lebowski says "we", but wants to mean one,but it's actually him and Walter going for the money drop and they piss the nihilist's off . Even I am confused right now, but I digress. So, the legend goes (they are pirates after all) that the majority of their scurvy crew decided that a bachelor party for one of the swabbies and boobies (can you say that on this site?) was more important then Kickball. The nerve of some people...:). So in stepped Subbie McSuberson and the Subs. Subbin in it up and helping the Pirates to the "W". Good job to the whole team. To the mutineers...hope the boobies(dang it....did it again!) were worth it!

Giving commentators on ABCs Wipe Out a run for their money, Erin was a pleasure to have behind the plate. Offering her own recipe of tips and tricks, she spent her time coaching players as they came to the plate for their turn to kick. Always makes the games much more enjoyable when there's banter!

When you show up late wearing a bright yellow tank-top and black shorts, your teammates will probably find a reason to make fun of you. As it was in Scot's case, every time he came to bat, the entire bench would start buzzing and chanting, "bzzzzzz bzzzzzz BUMBLE BEEEEE". Add in the other team and you have 30 people bzzzzzing in 5 second intervals. It's scary.

Sometimes the stars don't align. Sometimes, the ball doesn't roll your way. And sometimes emails, texts, and calls aren't enough to get your team to show up. But that didn't stop Aimee, Nikki, Kimberly, Tiffany, and Franco from being the stars of the night. In what was a great "exhibition" game, the members of Ruby teamed up with some of the lovely folks from Get Kicks and an ugly guy in a red shirt to play a great four inning game. Everyone kicked, everyone caught, and everyone had fun. At Underdog, that's what matters most. Thanks Rubys for a great season, and thanks to Aimee, Nikki, Kimberly, Tiffany and Franco for making the last game the best!
