I Shaved My Pin For This proved tonight that you can never be too prepared. The team showed up early and set up camp. They had sunscreen, bug spray and a campfire, and with ball and s'more in hand they were knocking down pins left and right. Way to bring it - can't wait to see what you have for next week!
Point West CU stole the night away with their combination of “modern ninja” and use of ancient arts to create real life wooden nun-chucks. That’s right – Point West CU’s very own Buddy Adams, affectionately named “Woody” for the night, hand crafted his team their own personal set of real wooden nun-chucks. This ancient form of weaponry mingles pleasantly with their modern age ninja theme… making up for their lack of black. Hands down, or rather – nun-chucks lowered, this team silently screams NINJA!
This week's team of the week is awarded to none other than We Thought This Was Trivia. Given there was no theme for this week's play, that didn't stop this team from planning an epic theme around Jersey Shore. No one would deny that Britney and Gentry nailed the Snooki/Ronnie combo. gaudy beads, tan lines, and long v-necks were a must for tonight's attire, but Snooki took home the gold. Her leopard print dress was hugging a baby bump. Yes, a baby bump. Slightly confused to see a pregnant super star drinking a couple brews, but to each their own. Thanks guys for showing some creativity and spirit this week, and can't wait to see what you scheme up for next week!
The Space Monkey Mafia was rocking and rolling as Nerds, a giant box of Nerds that is. These Nerds were bright and colorful, smelling of Double Dipped Lemonade-Wild Cherry and Apple-Watermelon (yellow and red). One of the red Nerds was even cloaked with a magical hooded cape. Before the night was over the Space Monkey Mafia Nerds over powered all other Nerds as their stickers infiltrated the teams. An orange nerd even found its way on the score sheet. If you can't beat them, might as well join them.
Point West CU had their crazy hair on tonight. The team was sporting big or long hair but Heather's by far was the brightest. You could see Heather's flashing purple hair dreads from across the bowling alley. The first game went fast, it could've been from all the candy that was consumed. Lucky for me I was able to walk away with a satisfying snickers bar. The second game ended up being much slower, that didn't stop Heather at all, with her hair lighting her way she beat her first game's score like it was nothing. Great game Heather, and great hair!
