Fall Co-ed Dodgeball at Friendly House Wednesdays

Danny showed some real toughness this week as he was the last one standing for his Ballrats, facing six opposing players on the other side of the court. He dodged a couple heaters from the other team and came up with all six balls in his possession. He used all six of those balls to rattle off throws like a machine gun and he took down all six opposing players in dominating style! Danny's amazing display of athleticism has earned him our player of the week!

Everyone in Underdog's dodgeball league loves dodgeball. Bryce takes this to a whole new level and will do anything to get on the court so that he can help his team. HAM showed up one girl short this week and Bryce tried to convince our referee staff that he had a special surgery this week and could now legally play as a woman. Luckily Bryce did not have to continue trying to convince us because HAM's third girl showed up and everything turned out ok. Because of Bryce's enthusiasm he is our player of the week. We applaud your love of the game Bryce!

So who exactly wears ballet slippers to a dodge ball match? The best damn ballet slipper wearing, war face showing, ball dodging, last woman standing, doesn't know the meaning of the word quit (or appropriate sports footwear apparently...kidding Renee),dodge ball playing person this week.

Our player of the week is Renee Sonnichsen. Now at first glance, the red head, with the ballet slippers doesn't seem like the real threat on her team, what with all the burly males she's surrounded by. However, teams learn pretty quick that to discount her is a sure fire way to get drilled and do the walk of "What the heck just happened" off the court.

And the war face?! Don't even get me started. You have to see it to believe it. Congratulations Renee, you a great player, a great underdog, and we are glad you have Wednesday night to get out all that pent up aggression out on the unsuspecting.

The most honest player on the court! Mike lead his team with honesty and integrity. Thank you for leading the charge and helping the game of dodgeball regain it's fun with straight forward, call yourself out if you get hit, mentality.
