Spring Co-ed Softball at Westmoreland Thursdays

We had a close match up at Westmoreland this past Thursday night! A real battle between Who can sub? and Day Donkeys left everyone in attendance at the edge of their seats and everyone playing on their A-game. It was continued back and forth battle all night long between two solid teams. As we went to the 7th inning, Day Donkeys took a one run lead to put the pressure on late. However, for Rodric of Who can sub?, pressure is not in his vocabulary. With the game sitting at a tie and runner on second, Rodric hit a deep fly ball into right center field to score the game winning run. For his excellent performance on the mound and the walk off hit, Rodric is our Player of the Week!

Chupacabra Tsunami came to play this past Thursday at Westmoreland. Though falling short to Bats Hit Crazy!!, the performance by John should not go unnoticed. John was lights out on the mound consistently throwing strikes and allowing his team to make plays in the field. John made some incredible catches of his own and fielded some hard hit balls that were directed right back at him on the mound. His fielding wasn't the only thing impressive on the night, however, as John finished the game going 4 for 4 with two doubles, two singles, and 4 RBIs. For his all around performance, John is our Player of the Week!
