It was a regular Sewallcrest reunion at PSU for the Softcorre championships Sunday, as 2 Legit 2 Kick took on Ace of Base. 2 Legit was fresh off of a blowout win in the semis, while Ace of Base got to work on their stretching after advancing via forfeit. The rest paid off for the #2 seed, as the Melton family (Toni & Todd) brought some crushing kicks to the top of the lineup. Dan was roaming all over right-center snaring fly balls, and "Captain Tom" Cogswell locked it down on the mound. Congratulations Ace of Base on a hard fought victory in 70 degree "winter" weather.

Midcore finals wrapping up at PSU with the Birthday boys and girls getting in by winning as many games in the playoff as they did all year. Nice job there, but the run(nings) would stop there. Cool Runnings, that is, a team mixed of players that play hard, have fun and get it done.
Winning their first game against She's going down first, they were loose and ready for the back to backer. Playing as a team, everyone made plays and had a hand in the win. Recess time was over, for now it was game time against the underdoggers' of Happy Birthday. Solid defense kept the Runnings ahead all game, while adding some big kicks and hustle, extended the lead. Nice game and season. Congrats on the win! Hope to see y'all this spring to defend the title.
