Summer Co-ed Softball at Rose City Park Sundays

This lady is my player of the week, or maybe otherwise known as, slugger of the week! Janice came up to the plate maybe 4 or 5 times during the game and each time she did she was crushing balls into the deep outfield over defenders heads. Not only is she a great softball player but also a great sportsman, always out there just having fun no matter what and cheering everyone on!

Ryen had todays heavy bat of the day blasting some huge hits and home runs! Very nice guy out on the field and has his little boys there to cheer him on with chants in the background! Love the enthusiasm he brings to the plate and the field, out with a competitive mindset but also just to have a fun time with some friends. Keep up the good work Ryen and keep blasting homers!

ALL STAR OF THE WEEK!
Jenny is an awesome player to watch in softball, she truly does it all for them. She was playing in left field the whole game and every ball hit towards her she caught, the opposing team was even congratulating her and messing around with there own batters saying "quit hitting to the girl in Left, she's too good!" Not only great in the field, she was knocking hits left and right to get on base. Jenny also has family on the team and was constantly having some competition between them, just a funny thing to listen to. Great job Jenny and keep it up!

Sharon played in two back to back intense games on Sunday and had a positive attitude through both of these hard fought games. These games were both very intense and their was a lot of tension in both the games. Sharon was their with a great attitude and keeping her team pumped up and also helping them stay calm through these high stress playoff games.

Sharon was very patient at the plate and got some solid hits in her teams games to help them win their first play-off game and to move on and play in another hard fought battle against the number 1 seed Chill Out. This was a very high tension game and Sharon was able to stay calm and help her team have a great game. Way to have a great positive attitude and way to be out there and help your team have fun.

Quite possibly the best play of the season from Nick and it couldn't have come at a better time... In the bottom of the 7th inning Back Up Off Me Pitches was clinging onto a lead that would win them the championship if they could get 2 more outs. Right before the play happened Nick said he get me the ball and I'm going to turn 2... The ball was hit to the pitcher, passed back to Nick for the out at 2nd and the throw to 1st was good for the double play and the championship! What a way to win it all and end your season, great job Nick and the team!
