Notes

First Place

Summer Softcore Kickball at Peninsula Park Wednesdays

Russian Gymnastics Team played amazing in both games. Their first game against the oddballs they showed off their amazing teamwork and athleticism. The championship game was really good. Both teams played very well however the Russian Gymnastics Team was able to utilize their strong kicks to find the gaps in the defense during the early game. The game was a 16-9 finish against "We Got the Runs".

Wednesday, August 3

Bradley Gaman

Russian Women's Olympic Gymnastic Team

Bradley played a great semi finals and championship game. Playing back to back games takes a lot of effort especially when everything is on the line for the championship game. Bradley showed his powerful leg off in the first game when he hit a massive home run. But it didn't stop there. Bradley continued to smash the ball well into the championship game as well as playing very tight defense in the field.

Sarah Grant

Russian Women's Olympic Gymnastic Team

Sarah, or "#1 Parent", if her shirt was to be believed, played exceptionally this week. She had some great line drive base hits, and she made an awesome inning-ending catch on a fly ball to Right Field. On top of her great play, her enthusiasm throughout the game was palpable. She was having a ton of fun out on the field, and her positive attitude and enthusiasm spread through her teammates and even to the other team. Keep on smiling!
