Summer Softcore Kickball at Peninsula Park Wednesdays

Sarah, or "#1 Parent", if her shirt was to be believed, played exceptionally this week. She had some great line drive base hits, and she made an awesome inning-ending catch on a fly ball to Right Field. On top of her great play, her enthusiasm throughout the game was palpable. She was having a ton of fun out on the field, and her positive attitude and enthusiasm spread through her teammates and even to the other team. Keep on smiling!

Dennis played very well this week, both at the plate and in the field. At the plate he got on base a couple times, but his best hit was a smoked ball over the outfielders for a Home Rin. In the field at 3rd base, he made a sensational diving catch that he secured between his feet after bobbling it, getting the out on the fly.

Nicole played an awesome game, she was an all around asset to the team winning the game. Nicole made many perfect pitches when pitching. Her bunts and kicks were spectacular. She also had an outstanding slide to second that maintained no outs and allowed for her team to score and make their comeback. Selecting Nicole as player of the week was a no brainer.
