The Player of the Week award really goes to everyone that played for Kickn' Kids as well as Swift Kick in the Grass this week. In a game now dubbed the "rain bowl" these two teams started the game with a fairly dry field considering the last few days of rain but by the 4th inning the downpour started. With puddles forming everywhere and the rain not letting up these two teams decided to power through the weather and wouldn't let the thought of canceling the game even enter their minds! True Underdog troupers these two teams are!

Kickn' Kids

Best....Ro....Sham....Bo....EVER! In a very heated match of Ro-Sham-Bo between Kickn' Kids and Douche Newton's the Kids ended up victorious in this pre-game tradition to determine Home vs. Away. It started out at a very fast pace and both players locked down while they tried to outwit the other. What seemed like hours was really only about 30 seconds but it lasted well over a dozen rounds of ties before a winner finally emerged! The amazement started at about the 5th round but quickly turned into pure shock and awe by round 10. Everyone lost count with how quickly they were going but by all accounts it was well over 12...maybe as many as 20! National Ro-Sham-Bo tour here they come!
