Josh is always all over that court for the Tiger's Like Pepper dodgeball games, but last Wednesday we saw an oldie but a goodie, the cartwheel, pulled out of the bag for the sake of making a great win even greater. His hilarious antics are not only fun to watch, but effective in distracting the T.L.P. opponents just long enough for his teammates to connect with a toss or two. Great job, Josh!
In a tightly contested game between Balls Out! and Tigers Like Pepper, Ashley came through big in the final game to win the match 4-3. In that last tie-breaker game, Ashley fought off the competition with two monster catches and earned herself a spot in the Tigers Like Pepper Hall of Fame. The first catch was the most spectacular as she bobbled it in the air a few times and as she fell to the ground she gained control to make the play!
At a pivotal point in the match, Josh unfazed by the pressure of the match comes up with the most amazing play of the night. With one of the balls rolling close to the center line and the other team targeting him, Josh charges the ball and as the other team starts their throw he surprises the other team by sliding for the ball. This move makes the other teams throws miss AND he was able to pick up the ball and score an out from the sitting position. With his team winning the match by a slim 4-3 margin, this play turned the momentum for his teams favor to seal the victory.
