POTW

Chirs is what Underdog sports is about. He was constantly talking and making sure his team was having a good time. He was the most positive person on the field even though his team came up short both games. He was having fun and keeping everyone at the park engaged. Chris you are a STUD, keep it up!

Sunday, August 7

All Spirit, all the time!

Chris is epitome of what an underdog softball player should be. Despite the score, he kept encouraging his team, cheered louder than anyone else and kept both teams chuckling. Just a great dude to have on the field. Congrats Chris, great game.

Sunday, July 24

Gold Glover

How many catchers do you know that moonlight as a second baseman? Better yet, how many catchers do you know that play second base better than Ryne Sandberg? I can't believe there are many out there, but there is at least one named Cassie Punnet! Cassie started the front end of a double header eating up pitches behind the dish, and by the end of the second game was roaming the right side of the infield like a natural. No ball was struck too hard for Cassie, and she even managed to make a "hand-off" to her shortstop for an out at second. Way to be Cassie!
