Spring Co-ed Kickball at Unthank Park Sunday

It was a physically taxing tournament, played during weather that couldn't make up its mind, with teams who came ready to win.

Orange-ataung pulled off a four-run comeback against Where My Pitches At? in the bottom of the seventh in a downpour. Your Mom and Clocklwork had a total of four half-innings where a runner scored. Orange and We Got the Runs played lights-out defense in a game that stayed 1-1 until a couple of very tight plays at the plate allowed the Runs to break the game open.

That set Your Mom and We Got the Runs on a collision course for the championship. Headed into the tournament, they were the two seed and the one seed, respectively, and both teams had played well all season. The game saw both teams make some spectacular plays and display heads-up baserunning, but a combination of tight infield play and some long line drives gave Runs the upper hands.
