Another season, another title for #BEAST#MODE. On a blistering hot, sunny Sunday afternoon, six teams entered, but only one emerged victorious. #BEAST#MODE channeled their inner Golden State Warriors' 'Strength in Numbers' mantra to fundamentally dismantle their competition.
The game began with lead-off sensation (and perpetually shirtless) Travis 'T-Bag' Amundsen proudly displaying #BEAST#MODE's multi-colored collection of Underdog championship wristbands. Between his hustle on the bases, Jenn Clark's fly-trap outfield defense, and belching hurler Darcy Murphy's creative assortment of pitches, #B#M took firm control of the game after the fourth inning.
Noah Pietz did an admirable job helping lead Gang Green to the championship round, staving off a furious 7th inning rally against Smashing Pumpkins to win in extra innings. In the end, however, #BEAST#MODE's reaffirmed their kickball supremacy, adding the coveted black wristbands to their trophy case.
