With a computer glitch in the first game between Sweet Sweet China and EPD, it seemed for a moment that all hope (and scores) had been lost. "What were you at?" "I don't remember my score!," "You fool, how dare you drop the bowling ball that close to the machine!" could be heard ringing out amongst the lanes. However, with a quick double-reboot from our trusty hanyman all was well again... for Sweet Sweet China, that is.
They went on to play Ceiling Cat and the Kitten Killers with Colonel Sausagepants (Larry) leading the charge in the final round. While this game did, in fact, take FOREVER, it was well worth it for one simple fact: the man, Oz himself. Yes, that's right folks, Big Turkey Bowling came face-to-face with the mechanic behind the lanes, and it was glorious! Glorious, I tell you!
In the end, after a few chorus' had been rung out from the gentlemen in Balls to Spare (who, by the way, were the ONLY team to fully nerd out), and a few too many pitchers drank, Sweet Sweet China claimed their victory and took a final bow.
On a side note, this reporter (otherwise known as Big Turkey) would like to point out a nice human interest story for you all: Red Bowls and Vodka. In a true Cinderella Story, they returned this season after earning only ONE POINT all last season. One point. This time they made it into the playoffs, and while they finished fourth, that is still an accomplishment to be proud of.
