On a "steamy" spring day at Lewis and Clark Indy #1 defeated The Lone Rangers. Meggan Simpson pulled three sacks to get her first player of the week honors. Meggan was immediately lifted up onto her team's shoulders and marched straight to the Tryon to celebrate.
Assaulting the statbook with one touchdown, an extra point, four jaggy's, and a never ending string of pints Christina Schulz is Week two's player of the week. She lead her team to a David vs. Goliath type upset over Portland Paintball.
If there were any questions concerning the defending league champs they were answered Thursday night at Lewis and Clark. Jacob Dorau lead his team in a rebound win 35-12 over Hot Route. In true underdog fashion a safe, fair, and fun game was played by both teams.
The Loan Ranger's Kim Miller lead her team to victory 22-6 over team Hot Route. With a touchdown and several key defensive plays Kim lead her team to a new winning streak. With the Loan Ranger's back on track, the playoffs should be very interesting.
After a tough game that ended in a tie, this week's player of the week is Adam Dauthit. Adam's key catches and positive attitude kept the Tight Ends in the game and kept the game fun and under control.
It has been a season of "close-but-no-cigar" games for the 3rd and Beer. That's why it felt so good to win big Thursday at Lewis and Clark. Lead by Annie Rose Macer they put on a 38-12 show.

POTW: Shelby Gerrits
Portland Paintball
Portland Paintball's Shelby Gerrits showed up huge, huge, HUGE! Several great pulls and two touchdowns including a diving catch to win the semifinal game against the Loan Rangers
Brandon Via helped pull his team ahead in the 2007 Championship by making a tough catch in traffic just inside the goal line. But when Portland Paintball's lead was in jeopardy with just seconds left in the game, Brandon soared into the air to snag an interception at the goal line. He then bobbed, weaved and jetted back downfield for 60 yards and a TD to preserve the championship, 30-19.
