Tony brought his A game this Sunday and we're not talking about his wicked pitching ability. The man can flat out deal from the mound. We're talking about the trademark fist pump for a strike, the constant chatter to his teammates, and swinging for the fences. He might hit more long balls if he kept his eyes open while taking his massive cuts, but that wouldn't be as challenging.

Business Time
While pitching the first game of his illustrious career Troy was also able to provide a much needed offensive spark to lead his team to victory. While up to bat Troy was taking quite a "ribbing", over his "professional" appearance from some of The Shockers most loyal fans. He agreed he did look like a pro then, when in mid swing he was asked the question, "If you are a pro why do you play beer league softball?". He responded with, "Because I like beer", and a solid double. Talk about buying a round for your team. Cheers to you Troy!

The Shockers
Captain Charlie led his band of Shockers into Sunday's final game of the season with a record that was void of anything in the win column. You would never know it by watching this team, they act like they have won every game. Showing incredible enthusiasm and zeal each week. Their battle cry, which rhymes with "two in the drink, one in the sink" strikes laughter to the face of all opponents. The Shockers have the most fun of any team and the celebration continued after they recorded their first win of the season with the post season awards ceremony. Great season Shockers!

Great team effort this week by Perfect Strangers. They brought their offense, defense and enthusiasm to the park on Sunday. They were able to take the title and have a great time in the sun. There was no question it was a total team effort the entire season, going undefeated. Great job Strangers!
