The only thing lacking with cold rain and snow is a good game of football. That is exactly what we had at Lewis & Clark College, scene for the 2010 Rain Bowl.
Two evenly matched up teams played in the soft core championship game, Balls & Dolls -vs- Bionic Hamstrings. This game was tight from the beginning with both teams scoring early and then letting their defense do the talking. At the half the game was tied at 13.
Snow kept falling, but Balls & Dolls came out smoking with a great defensive stop and then followed it by a touchdown to take the lead.
The game came down to the wire with Balls and Dolls up 26-19. On the final drive, Bionic Hamstrings with the ball and looking for the end zone only to be stopped by a great defensive play by Sacha Bernard to seal the victory and the title.
Congratulations to both teams. A well deserved win by Balls & Dolls, 2010 Rain Bowl Champions!

Chilling temperatures with snow falling was the scene for this year's Rain Bowl Championship game. That did not stop players from coming out with one thing on their minds.....a championship.
Both the weather and players came out hard. Roustabouts came out red hot in the tournament with a champion's dream, to win it all. They played a tough and talented Backyard Ballers, but unfortunately came up short as Roustabouts set the tempo early with great team defense that disrupted Backyard Ballers all game.
