Mike Van Tassel from Indy Won! showed up ready to play ball this week. On defense, Mike played short stop and made several great plays including an over the shoulder grab half way into left field. Offensively, Mike really crushed the ball, in fact, he had a hard time NOT hitting it out of the park. Great job Mike!
Carly from Pabst Smear couldn't be fooled this week. Line drives, short hops, in betweeners and tough bounces were no match for her. She was sucking them up like a vacuum and throwing runners out all over the field. Carly's MVP-like performance helped Pabst Smear defeat Indy Won and earned her the honor of being named Player of The Week.
Brian Jensen is this weeks POTW! Brian led his team to victory this week with 5 RBI's, all coming from home runs. He couldn't keep the ball in the field if he tried this weekend, two big home runs came early and counted for his team. The third of the day came after his team was over the limit and unfortunately counted for an out, but we all know it happened. Brian's 5 RBI's were the difference in the game which ended in Looking to score defeating Sons of Pitches 12-8.
"75% Talk 25% Skills" Thats Donta according to Donta. This guy come to the ballpark ready to have some fun! He is chirping the whole time and you never know what's coming next. A random dance move? A great play, I mean "lucky" play. This guy is what Underdog Softball is about, Keep it up Donta!
Even though Indy Won! trailed for the entire game, Danta Tanner cheered his teammates on and was there in full spirit again this week. Donta consistently shows what it takes to be an Underdog athlete and makes sure everyone on both teams is having a great time. Congrats Donta on being this weeks Play of the Week!
Terri Robinson from the Cadillacs absolutely crushed the ball this weekend. To go along with her line drive home run, she had a couple more nice hits and drove in some big runs to lead her team to a come from behind win! Good job Terri, you're this weeks player of the week.

Ed Marcell
The Cadillacs
Ed is truly a throwback. With his 1984 Supra, cotton short shorts and a bat from the 80's, he is truly a spectacle to behold. It's not just looks though, he knows how to play the game. Every week he came to the field looking to win and have a good time. This week was no different. He led the Cadillacs to their first championship with Underdog with a game winning single in the bottom of the seventh. After the game he collected high fives from his fans like a true champ. Good job Ed!
