Our Wiffle Ball league will have lines drawn on a small field for "zones" to determine singles, doubles, triples, and home runs territories. Field size is approximately 45 feet wide and 100 feet deep in total - smaller than the size of a professional baseball INFIELD only. We're using the classic yellow bats and Wiffle Ball's you might remember as a kid!
Teams will alternate batting and defense to try to outscore their opponent. Ghost runners (you won't be running the bases) are being used so no tag-outs and social distancing is in effect. Defenders can make outs by catching a ball on the fly or by hitting a target zone behind home plate.
Teams of 4-5 players will compete for two 30-min games each week for 4 weeks. (Total of 8 games) Playoffs for qualifying teams will follow.
SCHEDULE NOTE: Teams will play on either Saturday or Sunday each week. Schedule requests for one day over the other will be accepted but may not be able to be granted. Teams must be willing to play on either day on any given week.
