It was hot Tuesday at Alberta, and both Dusty Ducks and Hood Rats left it all on the field with the summer league championship on the line. Like two heavyweights in a prizefight, one team threw a punch and the other countered. Back and forth it went, with great plays made on the infield and stellar catches in the outfield.

When Dusty Ducks broke a 9-9 tie with three runs in the top of the 7th, Hood Rats looked to pull off a signature last inning come-from-behind win. After scoring two, they looked poised to put a runner on and bring the winning run to the plate. Phoebe sent a shot into the no-man's land triangle between short, third and left field. Out of nowhere, Aaron swooped in from his position at shortstop dove fully extended, and made a catch of catches to save the day and secure the black Underdog wristbands for Dusty Ducks!
