Summer Co-ed Kickball at Sewallcrest Park Sunday

After a season away from Sewallcrest, Canada? returned to some serious glory. Getting thrown into a vicious doubleheader against heated rivals Hot Mess and a quick learning Indy Team.

Canada? worked out the rust as Hot Mess jumped out to an early lead, but some timely defense from Jana and some big kicks from Levi and "Danimal" helped Canada? pay homage to their Mountie kinfolk with a big 7th inning comeback.

After a quick rest, Canada? plowed through the pounding rain and wind and jumped out to an early lead on the latest Indy sensation, starting out their season at 2-0. Way to go Hosers!

Some call it dumb luck. Others call it picking your spot. No matter which of these is your theory, Scorehouse seemingly were outplayed for 6 innings... but then, in true Scorehouse fashion, came roaring back. Aggressive baserunning by Darcy and Travis, coupled with some well placed boots from Nick and Patty, and Scorehouse comehow, someway came back to tie the game and send it to an extra frame. Kickball Whores did their best to swing the momentum, scoring one in the top of 8, but alas, like a cockroach, you just can't seem to get rid of Scorehouse, who scored 2 in the bottom of 8 to seal their place (again) in the Midcore final. Championships have eluded Scorehouse for many, many seasons... will fate tell a different tale next week?
