This weeks players of the week are the ladies on "No Punt Intended".
Sunday was a great experience watching the ladies play QB and in both instances, driving their team the length of the field for touchdowns.
On a couple of plays, including the last TD, it was a lady to lady in the back of the end zone. It was enjoyable to watch the girls give the guys a little ribbing on the fact that they were the reason why they scored some points this week.
Great job ladies and great job to the whole team on stopping each and every extra point attempted by "Try not to get fined" too! That's something to celebrate and build on for the next session.
Those in the know know it's the ladies that are the backbone of a solid co-ed flag football team. The 4:00pm match up between new teams No Punt Intended! & The Left Sharks showcased the skills of two ladies who quickly made a name for themselves on opening day at Lewis & Clark.
Their "born with" flag football skills were on display all game, with timely catches and rally crushing interceptions in the 2nd half. Nice work Amy & Amber...the rest of the league had been put on alert that there are two new ballers in the league to be reckoned with all season long.
