Summer Midcore Co-Ed Kickball at Unthank Park Sundays

On a very wet field up against a very tough Orange-a-tang team; Tom "MF" Holiday brought his big boy kicking shoe.

With Orange-a-tang leading the whole game going into the 7th inning, Tom kicked a 3 run home run that tied the game and sent it into an extra inning where Gang Green pulled out a huge early season win! An amazing kick in a very timely part of the game.

Great job!

Allen pulled double duty today. For starters, he played for his home team - Your Mom - leading them to a big win...he then stuck around and gave a helping hand to the Freeballers...and boy was it a helping hand. Allen's two run double in the 7th brought the Freeballers from the brink of defeat to the sweet succulent land of victory. Great job Allen!

-Honorable mention goes out to whomever it was that pitched in the first game of the day during the forfeit for fun game. Rumor has it, he was on fire - throwing two no hitters and providing sparkling defense. Not bad to look at either...i.e...one handsome dude!!!

In my year plus umpiring in Underdog I feel like have really grown as a kickball umpire due to Allen's heckling, cheering and now his friendship! He plays hard no matter what the score or what team he is subbing in on. He just loves to play and people love to have him around.

It is very sad that this was his last game in Portland as he is moving to Yakima but please don't be a stranger and come and fill in when you can. We will all miss you very much.

We are all saying good bye but giving it nasty to you. Allen your play and friendship will be missed!

Drea was a beast on the kickball field today! She was kicking perfect bunts down the third baseline AKA "Unthank Lane" - perfect to the point that she rolled three straight over the bag as the defense begged them to go foul. On defense she was like 007 of kickball pegging out anyone in her vicinity. She made plays all day and helped her team to another championship at Unthank park.
