Spring Softcore Kickball at Westmoreland Wednesdays

The GWHAR squad came to play this beautiful Wednesday evening. What really made the difference for the team was their excellent defense. With only 4 runs being scored on them in 2 games. Everyone on the team contributed in one way of another, but the standout on defense was Sal. He was like a cat behind the plate jumping on any ball he could get too, but his best play was to end the first game with his later throw to peg out the runner trying to advance to second, oh and guys this throw was from the plate....
On the offensive end, Eric led the squad moving runners up and always having quality plate appearances. His best was a triple that scored 2 to put his team up 6 in the championship match. Great way to end the season GWHAR

Must’ve been laundry day cause Lauren was all over the field tonight. Sliding diving catching kicking and throwing. She coulda caught a cold. She coulda kicked a tree. In the end she played fantastic kickball Woohoo Lauren!!
